Corporate-Startup Collaboration: Working with Giants

Meet Aiah.ai, an intelligent process automation platform of InnoVantage -- a 2015 seed-stage investment of Kickstart Ventures. Two product pivots and new funding raised from two additional VCs later, Aiah founder and chief executive officer Gian de la Rama would like to share with the Raid The Fridge community top lessons gained over the years engaging different companies going thru digital transformation or beginning to explore digitalization.

Recently, Gian and his team have done work for Facebook Philippines and Globe Telecom for a lead generation campaign that ultimately yielded a 3x increase in leads (vs online channels within the same period), 10x growth in chat engagements, and 50% lower customer acquisition cost for Globe Broadband.

It'll be great to learn from Aiah's several corporate-startup collaborations: a combination that harnesses each other's strengths that can set the course of an exciting future.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Gian de la Rama | Gian is the CEO and co-founder of InnoVantage, the leader in intelligent process automation using natural language interactions, robotic process automation, and workflow orchestration.

A graduate of the Ateneo de Manila University, Gian is a self-taught software developer who got his feet wet in the corporate world: Hewlett-Packard, Unilever. He also worked with US startups such as Montpac and Efficio Technology Services.

Gian began his entrepreneurial journey in 2008 when he co-founder his first venture. After five years and two more ventures, he co-founded InnoVantage. On the #startupPH community side, he lead the creation of Manila AI, an informal group of AI enthusiasts and practitioners dedicated to developing practical AI applications, a consultant for Globe Telecom, and a regular speaker in AI, tech startup, and entrepreneurship conferences."
