Fundraising is complex, unpredictable, and often difficult to navigate. If you’re a startup founder or entrepreneur already in the thick of preparations for a fundraising event or investor roadshow; in the middle of pitching to investors, or still undecided about raising capital from other people — come join us next week on Thursday, 31 January, 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm, and meet the founding members of the VENTURE CAPITAL & PRIVATE EQUITY ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILIPPINES (VCAP).
VCAP, a newly-formed and duly-registered industry association for institutions and practitioners who invest, or are interested in investing in the Venture Capital (VC) and Private Equity (PE) asset classes in the Philippines, would like to hang out with the #startupPH community at Raid The Fridge and introduce VCAP i.e. what is it and how can it help foster the growth of entrepreneurship and innovation in the country.
Joining us for a fireside chat would be a group of seasoned investors from the VCAP founding organizations:
ICCP SBI Venture Partners: A venture capital firm that specializes in early-stage technology investments and transpacific investing | www.iccp.com.ph
NAVEGAR: A Philippine-focused private equity fund that collaborates with founders and management teams to create long-term value for its portfolio companies by providing financial, operational, and strategic guidance | www.navegar.com.ph
KICKSTART VENTURES: The Philippines' most active Corporate Venture Capital firm, focused on investments in Pre-A to Series C digital startups. Kickstart is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Globe Telecom, and is backed by Singtel and Ayala Corporation | www.kickstart.ph
ROMULO MABANTA BUENAVENTURA SAYOC & DE LOS ANGELES: A full-service law firm with offices in Manila, Cebu and Hongkong that provides solutions to private equity, venture capital and corporate clients in the fields of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity capital markets, banking and finance, project development, corporate governance, anti-corruption including dispute resolution, and arbitration. | www.romulo.com
And to make the Raid The Fridge worth your time, we would like to crowdsource questions from startup founders and entrepreneurs a.k.a. “Questions you’ve always wanted to ask investors but has been hesitant to ask?”
You can submit your questions in two ways: when you click “Register” via Doorkeeper to attend Raid The Fridge, or you can send your top five questions to firstname.lastname@example.org on or before Jan 30th.
This is our 1st Raid The Fridge in 2019: we are again excited to fill up our fridge with beers so you can make new friends, reconnect with old friends, and swap #startupPH stories over beers!
