Kickstart Ventures, the country's leading Corporate Venture Capital firm investing in digital startups globally, is once again bringing Move The Fridge to Cebu City, this time in partnership with INQUIRER.net!

Move The Fridge is the mobile version of Raid The Fridge, Kickstart’s signature networking mixer held monthly for the #startupPH community August 2012. The Kickstart team is thrilled to bring it to Cebu — startups, corporates, and other enablers of the local startup ecosystem can look forward to an evening of networking and learning from best-in-class funded startups: KALIBRR and INNOVANTAGE!

Move The Fridge will feature as resource speakers two startup founders from the Kickstart portfolio, each bringing with him a wealth of experience — from fundraising, to building teams and shipping their products, and scaling their respective businesses:

• "Building an Innovation Culture” by Paul Rivera, CEO and Founder, Kalibrr | Paul leads Kalibrr, an HRTech company innovating the way people find jobs and companies hire people. Currently operating in the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam with a team of 120 employees serving 1,000+ of the region’s fastest and most innovative companies looking to fill more than 10,000 jobs, Kalibrr’s technology and engineering to serve HR teams have given Paul and his team a front seat to the different ways companies are developing a culture of innovation. Listen to Paul share his insights on how to build a culture of innovation by leveraging the power of HR and recruitment in your organization.

• "Corporate-Startup Collaboration” by Gian de la Rama, CEO and Founder, InnoVantage | Gian leads InnoVantage, a tech startup that developed Aiah, a company’s first AI employee a.k.a. digital teammate. Working with large corporates has allowed InnoVantage to distill hard lessons generated from various use cases of corporate-startup collaboration. So: the last time we brought Move The Fridge to Cebu was in September 2015 — it’s been a while since then and we really hope to reconnect with old #startupPH community friends, make new friends, and swap #startupPH and #innovation stories over beers!
