ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Stephanie Sy is the founder and CEO of Thinking Machines, a startup that builds data platforms and AI tools for improved organizational decisions. Her team’s work combines algorithmic thinking and data storytelling to drive effective action by organizations in all sectors. Thinking Machines is part of the UNICEF Innovation Fund’s 2018 cohort and a Waze Research Partner.

Stephanie was an early employee at Wildfire Interactive and joined Google as part of the Wildfire acquisition. She's built data platforms for ramen-profitable startups, 100-year old businesses, and major tech companies.

Stephanie was recognized on Forbes Asia’s 30 Under 30 2018 list for her work on enterprise technology, and Gen T 2019 list for technology innovation. She has an undergraduate degree from Stanford University.
